This role entails…

The purpose of this role is to execute and deliver audience insight to the stakeholders from ITV Commissioning and UK Studios. The focus of the role will be to deliver audience insight from a defined set of priorities that can help drive digital viewing. There will be short and long-term projects, from confirmed stakeholders. It will involve working against a range of pre-agreed programmes and issues to focus on, such as changing viewer habits and the push towards on demand.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • To help deliver the genre reporting across as many board and genre reports as possible.
  • To assist the transition for our commissioners and programme makers from traditional broadcast to a greater focus on the ITV Hub/ITVX
  • To contribute to ad hoc projects both in house and also with external agencies.
  • To disseminate the insight, to the benefit of other teams and wider partners in ITV, in a timely way.

 

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills:

Minimum role criteria:

 

  • To have experienced a full range of research techniques – both qualitative and quantitative, traditional and digital. 
  • To have good knowledge and interest in all the ITV genres.

The Key role criteria is as follows:

 

  • An understanding of BARB and the wider and new challenges of audience measurement is desirable 
  • A good communicator whether in person, as a presenter, or on the page.
  • To have a good understanding of the full range of ITV’s programmes, its channels and platforms, and its place in the wider television market.
  • To be able to think imaginatively and creatively about the issues facing ITV and its audiences, as well as the wider market.
  • To have interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills.
  • To be comfortable dealing with commissioners and creative teams.
  • To have initiative as well as proven organisational abilities and time management skills.
