What this role will entail...
ITV is seeking an experienced strategic account director to manage strategic partnerships with 3rd parties, such as pay TV platforms, mobile and telecom operators and global video platforms such as Amazon, Facebook and Google. Reporting to the Group Strategic Partnerships and Distribution Director, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of ITV’s relationship with key strategic partners. This is a newly created opportunity that is looking for someone that enjoys building great relationships and delivering change in a fast paced, fun and dynamic working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Achievement of ITV’s strategic partnership objectives within ITV’s overall strategy
Take overall responsibility for managing the delivery of all aspects of key strategic partnerships
Develop a clear understanding of the business strategies of ITV partners and how these may complement or compete with ITV’s own strategy
Develop an effective working relationship with key external stakeholders
Manage multiple internal stakeholders including CEO and Management Board members
For each strategic partner, effective co-ordination of identified projects and management of their inter-dependencies including oversight of any risks and issues arising
Proactively monitoring progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action
Delivering governance arrangements for each partnership
Ideal Candidate Profile...
Experience of working at senior/director level in a strategy role
Previous experience in a strategy role, preferably at a top tier Strategy Consultancy
Strategy, finance and/or change management skills
Has worked in an environment managing multiple stakeholders
Experience of balancing a range of commercial interests
Influencing and networking across large and complicated organisations
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst the members of the project teams
Adaptability to the quick evolution of the digital landscape
TV or online media experience with long form content is highly desirable
